The paper [1] gives a formula for calculating the area of a triangle using the length of the triangle’s three centerlines: if m, n, p are the median lines on the three sides of △ABC, then S_(ΔABC) = [(m+n+p) (m+np)(m+p- n)(n+pm)]~(1/2)/3 (1) This paper proposes a more general triangle area calculation formula.
