With the continuous development of information science and technology, some experiments in chemistry class have gradually been replaced by colorful videos. There is a tendency to spread the phenomenon of replaying students’ experiments with playing videos. However, in my opinion, chemistry is an experiment-based discipline. Chemistry experiment is an important way to conduct scientific inquiry. Experiment plays an irreplaceable role in chemistry teaching. Teaching should be strictly based on teaching progress, arrangements for doing a good job of each demonstration experiment, highlighting the theme of inquiry. Classroom demonstrations enable students to engage in hands-on activities and also try their best to engage students to satisfy the curiosity of first-year students and a strong desire to do so. Each experimental activity in the textbook should be self-taught
