律师会见是指在刑事诉讼过程中,律师为了解犯罪嫌疑人、被告人涉嫌的罪名及有关案件情况,听取犯罪嫌疑人或者被告人对所指控罪名的意见和辩解理由,从而更好地为犯罪嫌疑人、被告人辩护的一种活动。律师会见是保障犯罪嫌疑人、被告人诉讼权利,确保刑事诉讼活动顺利进行的重要环节。但由于侦辩双方角色不同而形成的天然矛盾,“会见取证难”一直是困扰刑辩律师多年的老大难问题。
