过去的七十多年中,《水浒传》已经有了四个英语全译本。本文对四个英语全译本的部分译例作了对比分析,旨在找出四位译者所采用的翻译策略和方法,并得出了译者的翻译价值取向影响并制约翻译策略和方法,以及站在不同文化视角和目的视野评判译文质量的结论。
Over the past 70 years, “Water Margin” already has four full English translation. This thesis makes a contrastive analysis of some translations of the four English versions to find out the translation strategies and methods used by the four translators and to find out the translator’s translation value orientation and to restrict the translation strategies and methods. As well as the conclusion of judging the quality of translations from different cultural perspectives and purposes.
