我看了新编课本初级中学“中国历史”第三册以后,觉得的确是一本质量较高的教科书。现在把个人看到的一些优点提出来简单地谈一谈,以供将要教这本书的同志们参考。先从全书的系统来看。这一册的内容包括从鸦片战争到“五四”运动前夕八十年间的历史。编者基本上采用按照年代次序叙述的方法,把八十年的历史事实分成四编。当然,关于中国近代史的分期,在科学上尚有争论,但是慎重地选择一种说法,原是编教科书的唯一
