“浪花岛”哨所故事区里风大浪高岛小。面枳仅0.34平方公里的岛上,每年有200多天刮7级以上大风,海面上掀起六七米高的大浪。曾有诗人描述说:台风来,沙石满天飞;海潮卷,一浪盖全岛。因此,小岛有了“浪花岛”的绰号。礁石林立、地无三尺平是南澎岛真实的写照。这里自古就是军事重地、战略要冲。第二次鸦片战争之后,英国侵略者在该岛修建了灯塔和办公建筑,强行时过往船只收取通行费用如今,这里已成为爱国主叉教育基地,时刻提醒守岛官兵铭记历史,守护好祖国的海疆。
