In 2006, the Inner Mongolia Geological Environment Monitoring Institute discovered a dinosaur footprint fossil spot about 10 kilometers west of the Hailautu Town, Wulatezhongqi. Due to the low degree of stratigraphic research on the origins of dinosaur fossils, the study of these dinosaur footprints has great significance in determining the age of strata and in restoring the paleoenvironment. A total of 119 vertebrate footprint fossils have been identified, most of which are dinosaur footprints, including the footprints dinosaur footprint: Eubrontes glenrosensis, Kayentapus hailiutuensis ichnosp.nov, Anomoepus intermedius, as well as footprints of crocodile footprints, of which the species of Kayentapus hailiutuensisichnosp. Nov is a new species. According to the morphological comparison of the footprints, the speculated dinosaurs are deduced as Megalosaurus, Dilophosaurus and Hypsilophodont in theropods. A comparison of Urad’s early-Jurassic footprints with the Podole area near Opatw in Poland reveals a very similar set of footprints, and therefore suggests that the footprints of the Wulatezhongqi meridional map and the age of the footprinting strata be included in the early Jurassic. Based on the study of the stratigraphic profile near the place of origin of the footprints and the fact that there are a large number of foot-footed dinosaurs in the footprinting, the fact is that the paleo-environment in the early Jurassic study area was mountain stream environment with abundant rainfall.
