The area of Triassic Daye Group (T_1) exposed in the southern part of Shangrao area is nearly 500 square kilometers, mainly distributed in Qianshan, Shangrao, Yushan and Guangfeng counties. Daye Group is the overlying strata that is very close to Longtan Coal Group in Permian and belongs to the same structural layer. It can ascertain the tectonic forms of Daye Group and infer the sections that are favorable to find coal in the underlying coal group.
