The concept of the traditional space is a concept of isomorphism and generalization, which is characterized by clear lines and distinct jurisdictions, characterized by a hierarchical system, a bureaucratic structure and an established closed structure and static system. This “space of lines” striated space) route is fixed, follow the trajectory, there are boundaries, there is a demarcation point. “Smooth space ” is a concept relative to “texture space ”. “Smooth space ” refers to a “no center ”, “no end ” type of organizational structure, is a constantly changing and constantly generated state; its characteristics are open, the area is unknown There are no hierarchical restrictions, no boundaries, no demarcation points, and no upper and lower strata and privileged blocks. It is an unconscious state such as nomadic state of existence: it is dominated by the machines of desire and the stream of consciousness, which are events (not things) Possession is an open structure of a dynamic system. In the social space of the United States, there always exists a static closed structure similar to the “grain space”. Ethnic identity attributes are often confined to an established frame with a grainy hierarchy. Various literary works try to break through such an organizational structure. Identity has always been one of the themes of Chinese American literature. This study focuses on the conversion of the life experience of three generations of mother and daughter in Amy Tan’s “Bonesetter” “Limited to” smooth space "under the concept of open conversion identity identification process.
