卫生防疫站是应用预防医学理论和技术进行疾病控制、卫生监督监测、健康教育、科研培训的综合性专业卫生机构,是当地卫生防疫工作的业务技术指导中心。其工作特点是社会性、群众性,专业性强,涉及面广,任务繁重,难度较大。要做好卫生防疫站的工作,发挥其整体功能,除要有精干的队伍、精良的设备、现代化的管理外,还必须有一个好的站长。那么怎样才能当一名好站长呢?笔者从自己的工作实践中体会到;只要具有5种“素养”、遵循4个“原则”、做到4个“善于”、处理好3个“关系”,就能成为一名出色的站长.1 要具有5种素养1.1 政治素养应懂得马列主义、毛泽东思想的基础知识和哲学,经济学的基础知识;懂得国家的政策法令,特别是应熟悉党在卫生战线的具体政策和国家行政管理方面的法令、条例、规定、办法、制度;能坚持社会主义的四项基本原则,自觉地按党的路线、方针、政策办事,只有这样,才能保证自始至终地坚持正确的办站方向。
