In the special cultural context in which contemporary poetry evolves, language problems seem no longer a sharp or fresh question. In the mid-to-late 1980s, “third-generation” poets’ exhaustive experimentation on language has made people tired of language problems. Whether large-scale rise of “colloquial” poetry or large-scale experiments such as “poetry to language”, “pre-culture language” and “super-semantic meaning”, let us have a clear understanding of the relationship between language and poetry.
