The inspection work started from Golmud City, Qinghai Province, to Lhasa in Tibet. In other words, the entire Qinghai-Tibet Highway should be inspected all over 1,200 kilometers and passed two peaks above 5,000 meters above sea level, including the Kunlun Mountains And Tanggula Mountain, the purpose is to examine the slope environment on both sides of the road, the quality of the situation, and to retrieve different soil samples for analysis in order to seek ways to solve the problem of soil erosion of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. According to reports, the annual loss of topsoil of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway reaches 5-10 cm. This is a very horrible and surprising figure that has posed a serious threat to this road. Therefore, it is imminent to solve this problem.
