结构系统可靠性设计方法是当前国内外工程界研究的重要课题,近年来发展极快。它是根据系统论的概念,并在可靠性理论基础上,建立起来的工程结构设计方法。这种方法是以结构整体可靠性作为分析计算对象,它将是今后工程结构优化设计的基础。本文是作者在“结构系统可靠性分析与设计方法的改革”一文所提出的结构系统可靠性设计思路和方法的具体化,其中有关结构系统可靠性分析方法是在综合一些分析方法基础上,提出的一种新的实用方法。有关结构抗力的调整是首次提出的新方法,实用性强。结构系统可靠性设计是一项涉及面广、技术性十分复杂的工作。目前尚处于研究、改进和完善的阶段,但将系统概念逐步引进工程结构设计,则将是发展的必然趋势。
