In the Soviet Union, mines with thin veins generally do not have filling facilities and lack external sources of cheap filling materials. However, the application of high productivity techniques is hindered by the need to increase the cross-section of the roadway and increase the number of cutting work per unit of pulse. At present, it is more significant to increase the comfort level of labor and the social and economic effects of labor productivity than to increase the amount of excavation works and depreciation of equipment. In addition, the use of a continuous filling method that does not leave pillars to enhance mining production can reduce the probability of occurrence of rockburst in the coastal tin mines.
