甜菜专用纸筒育苗移栽种植技术,在黑龙江省垦区内已推广近10年,增产效果很好。但专用纸筒一次性成本太高,群众在经济上压力较大,因此,推广面积和发展速度比较缓慢。1989年,受专用纸筒育苗启发,云山农场首次将传统营养块育蔬菜苗的技术,引用到育甜菜苗上加以开发利用,试验营养块甜菜育苗移栽2亩,亩产高达4325kg,比对照直播增产206.3％。1990年迅速在全管局大面积试验示范,1997亩地平均亩产2869.3kg,比直播对照田增产143.4％。
