Cubic公司为海军海洋系统中心设计和制造了一个精密Ku波段FM/CW测距系统,目的是试验和鉴主这种系统作为垂直起落飞机着陆/制导系统的有效性。主要设备有询问器、控制和显示台,以及政府提供的天线和计算机。系统的工作原理是把连续波信号调制在射频载波上,经过自由空间传播产生相位移,测量这个相位移得到斜距。试验经果表明,系统给出的精度,对于VTOL着陆制导系统的测距要求来说,是比较满足的。
Cubic designed and manufactured a sophisticated Ku-band FM / CW ranging system for the Naval Marine Systems Center to test and justify the effectiveness of such a system as a landing / guidance system for VTOL aircraft. The main equipment interrogators, control and display stations, as well as government-provided antennas and computers. The working principle of the system is to modulate the continuous wave signal on the radio frequency carrier, and the phase shift is generated after spreading in the free space. The phase shift is measured to obtain the slant distance. The test results show that the accuracy given by the system is relatively satisfactory for the distance measurement requirements of the VTOL landing guidance system.
