日本 NTT 传输系统实验室采用色散迁移单模光纤,在东京至滨松之间的现有传输线路上,成功地进行了10Gb/s 光传输实验,传输总长1260km。试验采用了由新型光子和电子技术装备的超高速传输设备。NTT 已为其干线链路开发了2.4Gb/s 光传输系统。为了以可承受的价格全面地提供该公司的 VI&P(可视化、智能化和个人化)业务,NTT 正在努力通过更好地利用已敷设的光缆进一步提高传输容量。此次实验表明,用光纤放大器作中继器来放大光信号,无需进行光电信号转换,就能提供速率高达10Gb/s 的高速传
Japan’s NTT transmission system laboratory using dispersion-shifted single-mode optical fiber, the Tokyo-Hamamatsu existing transmission line between the successful 10Gb / s optical transmission experiment, the total transmission length of 1260km. The experiment used ultra-high speed transmission equipment equipped with new photonics and electronics technology. NTT has developed a 2.4Gb / s optical transmission system for its trunk link. In order to provide the company’s VI & P (visualization, intelligence and personalization) business with full affordability at an affordable price, NTT is working hard to further increase its transmission capacity by making better use of its already laid fiber optic cable. The experiment shows that the use of optical fiber amplifier repeater to amplify the optical signal, without the need for optical signal conversion, can provide high-speed transmission rate of up to 10Gb / s
