中国农业科学院蚕研所研究员、硕士生导师、《江苏蚕业》副主编、九三学社社员许心义先生因病医治无效,于1994年10月20日5时30分在镇江逝世,享年75岁。 许心义先生,江苏省宜兴市人,生于1919年9月,1942年7月毕业于江苏省立蚕丝专科学校,建国前在四川、江苏从事蚕业科研与教学工作。新中国成立后,先在华东农业科学研究所蚕桑系工作,1951年华东蚕业研究所成立后（中国农科院蚕研所前身）,一直在该所从事蚕业科研工作,先后担任该所养蚕法组副组长、农村技术指导室副主任、情报资料组组长、养蚕研究室主任、所学术委员会委员等职,并担任中国蚕学会副秘书长、江苏省蚕桑学会第一、二、三届理事、第二届理事会副秘书长、《蚕业科学》常务编委等职,积极参加《江苏蚕业》的创办与编委会工作。
Mr. Xu Xinyi, associate editor of “Jiangsu Sericulture” and member of Jiu San Society, died of illness at the Zam Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences at 5:30 on October 20, 1994, at the age of 75. Mr. Xu Xinyi, a native of Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, was born in September 1919 and graduated from Jiangsu Provincial Silkworm College in July 1942. He was engaged in scientific research and teaching of sericulture in Sichuan and Jiangsu before the founding of the People’s Republic of China. After the founding of new China, first in the East China Institute of Agricultural Sciences sericulture department work, East China Sericultural Research Institute was established in 1951 (Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Institute of silkworm predecessor), has been in the sericulture research, has served as the Institute Sericulture law team deputy leader, deputy director of the rural technical guidance room, intelligence information group leader, sericulture research director, academic committee members and other staff, and served as deputy secretary general of China Silkworm Society, Jiangsu Province sericulture first, Second and third directors, deputy secretary-general of the second council, executive editor of Sericulture Science and other positions, and actively participated in the establishment and editorial board of Jiangsu Sericulture.
