我们于1978~1980年间,先后应用单垂直板和双垂直板聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳及光密度计扫描方法,对玉米的 T、C、M 型等12对雄性不育系及其保持系的苗期叶片,灌浆期胚乳以及花药(花粉处于单核—双核期)进行过氧化物酶、细胞色素氧化酶、酯酶、淀粉酶、过氧化氢酶、苹果酸脱氢酶、乳酸脱氢酶、乙醇脱氢酶。八种同工酶的分析,除看到不育系与相应保持系花药中的过氧化物酶、酯酶和淀粉酶的同工酶酶谱有明显差异外,还观察到 T 型、C 型和 M 型等三种细胞质雄花不育类型之间酶谱不同;但未发现不育系花药中其它5种同工酶酶谱与保持系之间的差异。此外,在叶片及灌浆胚乳中,以上8种同工酶酶谱在不育系和保持系之间未观察到规律性差异。
