辛亥革命时期各种女子军事团体的出现,是近代女权运动的重要现象,而以上海最为集中。既往论著多从名号入手展开考察,易于造成实际事迹的混淆。厘清各支女军的源流,需要从人脉入手,对各类原始资料详加考订。由此方法,对于林宗雪、辛素贞统领的女国民军及北伐队,陈婉衍统领的女子北伐光复军,沈亦云发起组织的女子军事团,沈佩贞发起组织的女子尚武会,吴木兰发起组织的同盟女子经武练习队等女子军事团体的名实和源流,可以有一个基本的确认,以便为进一步的研究提供史实的基础。
