在北京地区,大面积防治油松毛虫往往在秋季,防治效果并不理想。除漏喷等原因外,根据我们对秋季油松毛虫的生长发育及其对药剂的敏感性试验观察,发现油松毛虫3—4龄幼虫在下树前就已进入滞育状态,处于滞育状态的油松毛虫对化学杀虫剂的敏感显著降低,这也可能是一个重要的原因。本文试图从油松毛虫滞育这一生物学特性出发,探讨油松毛虫种群数量变动与滞育的关系和防治油松毛虫的适宜时间及剂量。
