初中生首次接触生物课程,对新课程领域的认识不够成熟,致使当今初中生物教学实践中存在很多不利于提高教学质量的问题:学生对生物实验的认识仅停留在“好玩”的阶段,对实验背后的生物知识不感兴趣;对抽象的生物概念接受能力有限,学习积极性不高;课堂授课内容较多,“填鸭式”的教育模式致使学生对生物学习普遍不感兴趣;书本理论知识较多,生物实践比较少,学生学习积极性普遍不高。鉴于此,生物教育工作者要增进学生对生物的理解,引导学生对生物实验产生思考,根据学生的接受能力采用理论与实践相结合的授课方式,多让学生参与生物教学实践,提高其参与性和积极性,促进生物教学质量的提高。
