10月17日上午,四川省纪念红军长征胜利80周年大会在成都隆重举行。省委书记王东明出席大会并讲话。省委副书记、省长尹力主持大会。王东明发表讲话指出,四川这方红色土地和这片土地上的英勇人民,与红军长征的光辉历史紧密相联,四川是红军长征路程和时间最长、经过地域最广、自然环境最险恶、党中央召开重要会议最多、开展民族工作成效最显著的省份,英雄的四川人民为夺取长征胜利付出了重大牺牲、作出了不可磨灭的历史贡献。
On the morning of October 17, the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Red Army in Sichuan Province was held ceremoniously in Chengdu. Provincial Party Secretary Wang Dongming attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Yin Li, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor, presided over the meeting. Wang Dongming said in his address that the red land in Sichuan and the heroic people on this land are closely linked with the glorious history of the Red Army. Sichuan is the longest journey through the Red Army and the longest journey through the region with the most extensive natural environment and the most sinister party. The Central Government held the most important meetings and carried out the provinces where the most outstanding achievements in ethnic work were carried out.
