Glue consistency is an important rice cooking and food quality trait, however, there are few previous studies on the inheritance of this trait. The main reason is that the large sample (100 mg) method of Cagampang (1973) is not suitable for genetic analysis. In fact, the seed of node F_2 is F_3, therefore, the separation of F_2 and backcross generations can only be obtained by this method
