在ＫＦ／Ａｌ２Ｏ３催化下，邻硝基芳香醛与氰乙酸酯或丙二腈发生羰基与活性亚甲基的缩合反应，得到高收率的缩合产物，且为Ｅ式异构体。
Under KF / Al2O3 catalysis, the condensation of o-nitroaromatic aldehyde with cyanoacetate or malononitrile takes place with the carbonyl group and the active methylene group to obtain the condensation product with high yield, which is E isomer.
