建盏,最早产销于唐朝后期,兴盛于宋代,续于元代,至明中后期趋于衰微,没于清,复出于今.几十年来,不少专家学者致力于进行建盏的发掘、研究以及仿制工作,成果斐然.研究建盏千年兴衰史,对弘扬伟大的茶叶文化和陶瓷文化都具有重要的意义.笔者身处建盏产地几十年,今试就建盏的产地、规模、品种、特征、地位、衰落和仿制等作一论述.一、产地建盏产于现今的福建省建阳市水吉镇后井村的芦花坪、大路后门、社长埂(窑上墘、社长墘)和池中(墩)村的牛皮(山仑)等地(当地方言“墩”与“中”音极相似,长期以来二字混用,1981年建阳县地名办公室正式定名“池中”).这一带在古代属建安县长达800多年,故所产茶盏史称“建盏”.建安,在东汉献帝建安初年(公元196年)置县,三国吴(222年)属建安郡建安县,唐朝武德四年(621年)起至宋朝治平三年(1066年),水吉均属建安县.此后,分出建安、建阳、浦城三县的部分地域设置瓯宁县,后井、池中二地属该县禾义里,宋朝绍兴三十二年(1162年)起至清末瓯宁县属建宁府(路).民国二年(1913年)裁府并县,建安、瓯宁合为建瓯县,后井、池中属该县禾义里.民国二十七年(1938年)设立水吉特种区,直属省府.民国二十九年成立水吉县,后井、池中属复兴镇,1949～
