Since the reform and opening up, especially Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s southern tour speech and the 14th CPC National Congress, the party organizations in our state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises have undergone great changes in their leadership and central work. Taking economic construction as the center, giving full play to the party’s political core role in enterprise production and management, taking part in major decisions of enterprises and giving play to the role of guarantee supervision in daily production and operation are the primary tasks of the party organizations in state-owned enterprises at present. It is an important political advantage of the socialist economic system and economic structure of our country and the party organizations of state-owned enterprises should really play their core political role.
