任娟是一位来自湖南土家族的青年歌手,毕业于四川音乐学院声乐专业。曾先后师从于周强副教授、谭学胜教授、文雯副教授,现在四川音乐学院任教。在任娟身上总有一种土家族的豪爽和热情,因此,从她的歌里总透露着一种激情和狂野。她的主打歌《土家妹》一经推出便受到大家喜爱,并编排为广场舞,在百姓舞台上大放异彩。2013年3月任娟全国发行首张个人专辑《美美小日子》同时这首歌成为中国移动四川地区默认彩铃。任娟除了教学之外,积极参与社会音乐活动,并多次在中央电视台《幸福账单》栏目中担任2015年四川赛区海选及总决赛特邀评委;在成都市政府主办的第一届天府古镇艺术节大型实景情景歌舞剧《恋·五凤传奇》中饰演女主角青凤,以其泼辣的性格,优美的歌声受到观众一致好评。
