1978年炼铁科技座谈会于5月在上海召开。参加这次会议的有43个单位、57名代表,在会上提出书面学术报告19篇。会议期间冶金部李非平付部长和上海冶金局负责同志到会讲了话。这次座谈会讨论了我国炼铁、烧结的技术方针;制定了炼铁、烧结近期的重点研究计划(草案);落实了编写建国以来炼铁、烧结学术论文选编和当前国外炼铁、烧结动向;讨论了向中国金属学会推荐的炼铁专业组成员名单;还通过了1979年
Iron and steel technology forum in 1978 was held in Shanghai in May. There were 43 units and 57 delegates attending this meeting, and 19 written academic reports were presented at the meeting. During the meeting, Minister Li Feiping and Minister of Shanghai Metallurgical Bureau addressed the meeting.
