对传统伦理范畴的重新诠释 ,构成吴晗一生思想和学术建树的重要内容。著名的“道德三论”固然是吴晗对儒家道德资源的开掘 ,而他笔下的海瑞等众多“清官” ,也是作为传统道德的载体和人格化身而出现的。吴晗对“清官”的褒扬 ,是对传统道德间接而有力的肯定。在海瑞等“清官”身上 ,还凝聚着吴晗自己的人格理想。作为一个深深认同于历史传统的学者 ,吴晗不同意早年鲁迅的一个著名判断 :一部历史满本都写着“吃人”二字。联系到《论共产党员的修养》在这时的重新发表 ,可以看出 ,在 2 0世纪 6 0年代初期 ,中国社会包括中国共产党 ,出现了一种向儒教伦理大踏步靠拢的趋向
The reinterpretation of the category of traditional ethics constitutes an important part of Wu Han’s life thoughts and academic achievements. Well-known “moral three theory” is of course Wu Han’s excavation of Confucian moral resources, and many of his “clean officials” like Hai Rui also appear as carriers and personal incarnations of traditional morality. Wu Han’s praise of “honest government” is an indirect but forceful affirmation of traditional morality. Hai Rui and other “clean government” who also embodied Wu Han’s own personality ideal. As a scholar deeply rooted in historical tradition, Wu Han disagrees with a famous judgment of Lu Xun in the early years of his life: a word full of history says “eating man.” In connection with the re-publication of “On Cultivation of Communist Party Members” at this time, it can be seen that in the early 1960s Chinese society, including the Chinese Communist Party, showed a tendency to move closer to Confucian ethics
