詹姆斯.乔伊斯是爱尔兰著名的意识流小说家,其作品具有非常独特的创作风格。中国对意识流大师乔伊斯的研究大体分两个阶段。1922—1978年为第一阶段,这一阶段学者对乔的研究处于模糊认识阶段;1979年至今为第二阶段,这一阶段中国学者摸索及发展对乔的认识并取得了一定的成果。本文将从上述两个阶段入手,全面总结詹姆斯.乔伊斯及其作品在中国的研究状况,希望能够帮助中国读者深入了解并更好地欣赏乔伊斯的作品。
James Joyce is Ireland’s famous stream of consciousness novelist, his work has a very unique style of creation. China’s research on Joyce, the master of consciousness, can be roughly divided into two stages. 1922-1978 was the first stage. During this period, scholars were vaguely aware of Joe’s research. From 1979 till now, it was the second stage. During this period, Chinese scholars explored and developed their understanding of Joe and achieved certain results. This article will start with the above two stages and fully summarize the research status of James Joyce and his works in China in the hope of helping Chinese readers understand and better appreciate Joyce’s works.
