INTRODUCTION Since Brenner and Riddell have found that the use of sodium hypophosphite (NaH 2 PO 2) as reductant, nickel salts can be reduced to obtain amorphous Ni-P alloy coatings since the electroless Ni-P alloy coating as a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant.
