建筑外窗的耗能在建筑能耗中占的份额很大。实验测试数据表明采用塑料窗尤其是双玻璃塑料窗的传热系数小于实腹钢窗和铝合金窗,而且实验室测试是在窗扇四周完全密封的条件下进行,实际应用中由于塑料窗的气密性优于钢窗,使换气造成的热损失大大减小,其节能效果非常显著。采用塑料窗、配合遮阳物和控制窗墙比是实现建筑节能最有效措施之一。
