There are only two species of Liriodendron species existing in nature. One species is L. tulipifera Linn., Which is naturally distributed in the eastern United States and southeastern Canada, and mainly concentrates in the Appalachian Southern Asia; another species, L. chinense (Hemse.) Sarg), native to China, due to its leaf-shaped veins, such as China, also known as Chinese sambucus. Liriodendron rapid growth, dry straight, timber wide use, leaves and flowers have a high ornamental value, is one of the high afforestation species, by the people’s favorite, but the existing resources are very scarce, has been listed as China’s second Grade rare and endangered species of protection.
