网络文化是复杂的社会现象,是网络社会与现实社会互动的产物,也是这两种社会形态之间的一种桥梁。网络文化一方面映射着现实社会,另一方面也深刻地反作用于现实社会。网络对于社会的反作用,表现为多个方面。网络文化对社会压力的运动方向形成了一定作用。网络越来越多地被人视为社会的泄压阀,网络文化的运动过程也是社会压力释放的一种方式。但是,也应该看到,网络文化的运动不仅有泄压的可能性,也有增压的可能性,两者还有可能在不知不觉中相互转化;网络文化还直接作用于每一个网络中的个体;网络文化的运动过程,也是人群自然分化的过程;同时网络社会还直接干预着现实社会,对现实社会形成长远影响。网络文化对现有的文化格局产生的冲击也是明显的,一方面,它自身的文化格局呈现出与传统文化格局不同的景观,另一方面,它又在冲击着传统文化格局。
