在通常的勘察工作中,特别是在山区进行勘察,经常会遇到边坡问题,或者是原始地形坡度大,具有潜在滑坡的可能,或者是工程建设改变原始地形后形成新的边坡,可能诱发滑坡,危及工程场地安全。滑坡、崩塌等地质灾害是山区公路经常遇见的问题,如治理不及时或措施不妥当,会给人民财产和人身安全造成很大的损害。
