8月,2006年上海书展圆满落下帷幕,书展期间共推出10万种图书、200项文化活动、创造2800万元销售额,接待了20余万申城及来自全国各地的读者。很多读者扶老携幼,全家出动,去书展看新书、看好书,书展成为了暑期申城百姓津津乐道的话题和风景。为期7天的上海书展不仅大幅刷新了历史纪录,而且成功挖掘了上海市民的阅读潜力,营造了浓厚的书香环境,体现了上海这座城市的文化底蕴和文化魅力。本刊自今年5月起连续推出了“关注上海中小学生书面阅读”的系列报道,引起了社会强烈的反响,书面阅读的缺失得到了方方面面的关注与思考。火爆的书展与日益被冷落的书面阅读为何会有如此巨大的反差?本刊记者来到了书展现场,与读书人、爱书人进行了零距离的沟通,与现场的中小学生面对面探讨了关于阅读的问题,同时本刊设计了相关的调查问卷,对参加当日书展的300名读者进行了随机抽样调查,期望通过这些措施能更深入地透析到书面阅读的特性与本质。
In August 2006, the Shanghai Book Fair was successfully concluded with 100,000 books and 200 cultural activities during the book fair.
