板栗良种——处署红的引种

辽宁是我国栗树栽培的北缘,现有栗树1500万株。但是种类混杂,劣多优少,产量低,结果晚,品质差。为尽快解决这个问题,引种外地优良品种是节省时间、易见成效的措施。为此,我们于1972年从山东引入处署红(原产浙江,是宜兴、长兴、广德等地广泛栽培的早熟品种,1964年引入山东)。几年来,经过各地试栽,表现适应性较强,早实丰产,是个比较好的品种。现将引种结果报告如下。一、品种主要特征处署红树姿开张,树冠半圆形,1年生枝灰绿色,阳面红褐色,枝软易下垂(为本品种的突出特征)。叶片大,光泽不明显。刺苞短 Liaoning is the northern edge of Chinese chestnut cultivation, the existing 15 million chestnut trees.
