问:叶先生,您快满90岁了,您在很多方面都有很高的造诣,为中国的学术,包括中国陶瓷史、书法史等做出了卓越的贡献。您从北京大学文学院毕业后从事陶瓷研究,在故宫博物院工作过,后来又在中央工艺美院任教,请简单谈谈您的学术经历。答:我和陶瓷结缘这个问题,在我来说有一定的必然性,也有一定的偶然性。因为我本来不是学陶瓷的,我的志趣是书画,小的时候就喜欢写字,画画还在其次。到大学以后认识了北京十大书家之一罗复堪先生,他是写章草的,跟他一学15年,直到他去世。第二个老师是溥心畲(溥儒)先生,跟他学了3年。第三个老师是徐悲鸿先生,也跟他学了3年。
Q: Mr. Yip, you are almost 90 years old. You have high attainments in many fields and have made outstanding contributions to Chinese academic studies, including the history of Chinese ceramics and the history of calligraphy. After you graduated from Peking University College of Arts in ceramic research, worked in the National Palace Museum, and later taught in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, please briefly talk about your academic experience. A: The problem I get with ceramics is a certain necessity and a certain chance to me. Because I did not learn ceramics, my hobby is calligraphy and painting, when I was young, I liked to write, drawing is still the second. After arriving at the university, I met Mr. Luo Fukan, one of the top ten Beijing booksellers. He was a native of Zhang Zhang and studied with him for 15 years until he died. The second teacher is Pu Xin She (Pu Ru), with him for 3 years. The third teacher is Mr. Xu Beihong, also studied with him for 3 years.
