陈敏是陕西商洛人,在这片古老而神奇的地方,新时期文学产生过贾平凹、京夫等文学大家。仔细阅读陈敏的小小说,可以看到一个地域深远的文学影响和文化浸润。陈敏属于文学素养深厚、创作准备充分的女性作家,譬如她擅长翻译外国小说,出版过译文集《许多许多月亮》等,这在当代中青年作家中是极为罕见的。陈敏十年前开始涉猎小小说写作,迄今已发表数百篇,出版了《诗祭》、《红风筝》
