The “National Posts and Telecommunications Workers’ Technical Business Report and Presentation Tournament”, organized by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the National Committee of the China Posts and Telecommunications Workers Union, was held in Beijing on November 15-19, 1986. Carrying out this activity is in line with the guiding ideology set forth by the Central Secretariat in the post and telecommunications department on “building infrastructure with one hand and reforming the construction of the contingent of workers and staff”. The opening ceremony was chaired by Luo Shuzhen, chairman of the post and telecommunications union committee.
