大学英语教学与多媒体教学是密不可分的,在大学英语教学中运用多媒体是促进外语教学呈跨越式发展的一条重要途径,它可以帮助不同层次的学生实现在传统教学中无法开展的个性化教学,也是培养和提高学生的自主学习能力及听说能力最有效的重要途径之一,还可以突出语言教学中的文化性。本文根据多媒体技术的特征,提出英语教学引入多媒体技术可以发挥学生的视觉和听觉潜能、提高学生的听说能力、突出语言的文化性、体现个性化教学等特点,以最终达到英语教学新基本要求。
College English teaching and multimedia teaching are inseparable. The use of multimedia in college English teaching is an important way to promote the development of foreign language teaching by leaps and bounds. It can help students at different levels realize personalized teaching that can not be carried out in traditional teaching, It is also one of the most effective ways to cultivate and improve students’ autonomous learning ability and listening and speaking ability. It can also highlight the culture in language teaching. According to the characteristics of multimedia technology, it is proposed that the introduction of multimedia technology into English teaching can bring out students ’visual and auditory potentials, improve students’ listening and speaking abilities, highlight the cultural features of language and embody personalized teaching so as to finally meet the new basic requirements of English teaching .
