从物质产品到精神产品,质量问题都是一个十分重要的问题。任何一种产品,质量不高,都不会受到人们的欢迎。所以,重视质量,狠抓质量,提高质量,成为全社会的共识。就出版界而言,质量、繁荣问题,是坚持出版为人民服务、为社会主义服务方向的根本性问题,也是新闻出版行政管理部门常抓常新的首要问题,是各级各类出版社需要长期坚持不懈抓下去的永恒主题。提高图书质量,涉及到方方面面。就其重要之点认联系我省的实际,我认为需要有“十抓”。(一)抓意识,提高全员关心质量的自觉性。从编、印、发各部门的领导班子到广大干部职工,都要真正重视起来,树立强烈的质量意识。思想是行动的先导。要从思想上真正认识到质量的重要性,认识到图书出版要不断满足人民群众的精神文化需要,要适应经济发展、社会进步及社会主义精神文明建设的需要。只有这样,才能有扎扎实实抓质量的行动。领导的重视是十分关键的。领导真正重视,才会下功夫组织研究图书质量上存在的问题和困难,找出原因,采取切实的措施去加以解决。
