概述定义:艾滋病是获得性免疫缺陷综合征(Acguired Immunodeficiency Syndro-me),取外文名称中的第一个字母即“AIDS”,我国译成为艾滋病或称爱滋病。根据美国疾病控制中心(CDC)的定义是:“AIDS是一种损害人体免疫系统致病的疾病,患者从来未用过免疫抑制剂,在45～60岁以下的病人,最易发生严重机会性微生物的染感,如肺炎,脑炎等,往往同时患有Kaposi肉瘤。”本病可引起多系统的并发病而致命。
