上海市工人文化宫业余话剧队演出的话剧《于无声处》,似一声惊雷轰动了全国,在社会上引起强烈的回响,受到广大群众的热烈欢迎和赞赏。本刊编辑部于十一月十日,召开了座谈会。十一月十五日《于无声处》在首都正式公演之后,中国戏剧家协会又于十一月二十一日在北京工人俱乐部召开了座谈会。参加这两次座谈会的有全国总工会、文化部的领导同志,戏剧界人士以及曾经参加天安门革命事件的部分同志。《天安门诗抄》编选者童怀周的代表也应邀出席了座谈会。两次座谈会均由曹禺同志主持。现将十日座谈会的发言摘要和二十一日座谈会的情况报导发表于下:
Shanghai Workers Cultural Palace, an amateur playhouse drama performed in the silent Department, seems a thunderous sensation throughout the country, aroused strong repercussions in the community by the broad masses of the warm welcome and appreciation. Our editorial department held a symposium on November 10. After the official performance at the Silent Department on November 15 in the capital, the Chinese Dramatists Association held a symposium on November 21 at the Beijing Workers’ Club. Those attending the two forums included the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, the theater industry, and some of the comrades who participated in the Tiananmen Revolutionary Revolution. Representatives of Tonghuai Zhou, editor of “Tiananmen Edition”, were also invited to attend the symposium. Both forums were chaired by Comrade Cao Yu.
