去年11月,当NVIDIA推出业界首款支持DirectX 10标准的显卡——GeForce 8800 GTX之时,就预示着显卡开始从DirectX9向DirectX 10的过渡。而迟到半年之久的ATI,终于在2007年5月推出了首款支持DirectX 10标准的Radeon HD 2900XT。至此,N与A两大显卡的对立新阵营形成,这也意味着显卡从DirectX 9时代全面地过渡到DirectX 10时代。此时,传说中的DX10游戏也终于浮出水面,与大家期待所不同,首先登场的DX10游戏并不是呼声一片的《孤岛危机》(Crysis),而是经过引擎升级的《狂野西部》(Call of Juarez)和移植自XBOX360的百万大作《失落星球》(Lost Planet)。那么,在经历漫长等待之后,DX10显卡邂逅DX10会擦出怎样的火花?
