赵孟頫(1254—1322),字子昂,号松雪道人,浙江吴兴(今湖州)人,元代著名书法家。赵孟頫曾将家藏孤本《兰亭序》一跋再跋而达到十三跋,其崇尚复古的艺术观可见一斑。总体来说,南宋书法怯弱,无韵少法,作为宋室后裔的赵孟頫却将书法的光彩重现,力挽狂澜,将元代的书法艺术推向高峰。赵孟頫以二王为基,旁及褚遂良、虞世南、李北海等,不涉宋迹,面貌清雅中和,秀丽可人。其用笔娴熟,并将二王笔法简化,从而降低了用笔的难度,但其字里行间透露出来的精美之气,珠圆玉润,无懈可击,绝非几年功夫可成。本期所刊为赵孟頫书苏东坡《赤壁赋》,以楷为主,掺以行意,秀润清畅,雅俗共赏,实为临习佳帖。感兴趣的读者可以用硬笔临写,并将临习之作(可以选择其中一部分)于2007年3月15日前寄往本刊编辑部,信封注明“二月竞临”字样。本刊将选择部分临作刊登于第四期杂志。
