钴是一种比较稀贵的金属。在许多方面需要使用各种含钴试剂及其化合物,其中如环烷酸钴就是普遍使用的催化剂与油漆催干剂,需要量大。为节约金属钴的消耗,我们认为还应利用从各种含钴烧渣中回收提取的氧化钴作为制取其它钴盐的原料,比如可利用从我国大冶、中条山、金岭及江苏冶山等地的含钴黄铁矿的氧化烧渣中回收提取的氧化钴。但是这种氧化钴有的是从氢氧化钴(Ⅲ)煅烧而得,常是比例不等的二价与三价钴的混合氧化物,由于不溶性三价钴化合物是很难溶于没有还原性的酸类,限制了对它的利用,因而也就达不到节约金属钴的目的。为什么从某些含钴烧渣中回收提取的氧化钴会有三价氧化钴呢?这是因为从品位很低的含钴矿中提取分离钴的需要所致。如我国大冶、中条山、金岭及冶山等地的含
