In 1964, Dick Tracy’s radio / television dual-use machine worked very well. Of course, when it was a little bit funny, showing resolution was not a problem, the bandwidth was excellent, and no one was worried that there would be too many channels to browse. Almost everyone today wants to place millions of pages of the Internet on a cell phone, a PDA, or even in a watch, and the real world does not seem to be that good. Having seen many of the immature wireless information technologies lately, I’m convinced that it is important to move data anywhere / anytime, but it’s really not ripe, especially for smartphones. There is still a conflict between the size of the device you want to carry and the size of the device that can easily transmit data - that is, no sophisticated technology exists unless you are able to send wireless Q & A directly to your brain.
