扁桃体-腺样体切除术后继发性出血系指术后5~10天之间的出血,一般出血量较少,只需使病人保持安静并注意观察有无进一步出血迹象而不需采取更多措施,只有少数病人偶尔要行手术止血。此种出血通常认为是基于手术部位的感染所致。作者对因扁桃体腺样体手术后继发性出血的24名病人进行了观察,其中10名儿童,14名成人;1人为腺样体出血,其余均为扁桃体窝出血。出血大多发生于术后5~7天,1例发生于术后36小时,1例发生于第10天。入院时测量了体温、脉搏和血压,并作了血细胞、血沉检查和咽拭子细菌培养。就诊前已用过抗生素和曾有上呼吸道感染者未纳入观察。细菌培养结果只有2例化脓性链球菌(A 族),1例溶血性链球菌(G 族)

Bacterial culture results only 2 cases of Streptococcus pyogenes (A group), 1 case of hemolytic streptococcus (G group)
